1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using HireFloat ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

HireFloat is a reference checking platform that allows employers and recruiters to:

• Collect professional references from job candidates
• Send automated questionnaires to references
• Generate comprehensive PDF reports
• Manage and track reference check status

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and for any activities or actions under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use automated means to access the Service without permission

5. User Content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to the Service ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

In no event shall HireFloat, its directors, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HireFloat and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
